Busy Busy…
Busy, busy, busy! It’s that time of the year again. “Art Ireland” at the RDS is less than a month away and as usual I’m in a panic. Will I have enough paintings? Will they be ready? Of course it’ll be fine. It’ll all come together in the end. The panic is just part of my ritual before an exhibition. This is when I find that I do my best work. I have received some nice coverage as part of the PR work for Art Ireland. My painting ‘Leapfrog’ has been featured in the current (March) issue of Irish Tatler magazine (pg.13) and also in the current (March/April) issue of Image Interiors magazine (pg.16).
For those of you that don’t know. Before my venture into Acrylics I was quite proficient in Chalk Pastels. I have been invited to do a demonstration for the Greystones Art Group next Tuesday night 10/03/09. Should be fun!
Winter Productivity
I’ve been dodging the rain, wind and snow and trying to produce as much work as is possible. The fire is lit and there’s soup on the stove. It’s quite exciting!
